In a perfect world my days would not be spent working 40 hours per week in mortgage operations…Instead I’d spend beautiful sunny days shopping at expensive stores, eating delicious pastries, looking adorable in sundresses and vintage sunglasses, having perfectly styled hair and riding a bicycle through the glamorous streets of Paris.
Sound familiar to you? Maybe you’ve seen the below Miss Dior Cherie commercial, directed by the fab Sofia Coppola, which describes EXACTLY what I want out of life.
I’ve already got the sundresses part down as they’ve been a staple of my wardrobe for quite sometime. The next logical step, as plane tickets to Paris are out of my budget at the moment, would be for me to procure my leisure-friendly bicycle.
I am obsessed with this Cruiser from Schwinn:
This Republic bike which looks like it’d be popular with my Granny, is right up my alley.
The Electra Townie is a really cute cruiser I could see myself riding around on…
A basket would be ESSENTIAL for all the baguette and fresh flowers I plan to buy during my Parisian sojourn.
So many cute, girly bikes to choose from it will be hard to pick my perfect ride. I can’t wait to ride my bike to the Kerrytown Farmer’s Market, or the library down the street, or Barnes and Noble just up the road. The streets of Paris will have to wait for a little while, so until then Ann Arbor will have to deal with Miss Doir Amber.
