I cannot take credit for the hilarity that is this blog post title. It was the second hit after a quick Google of “Fridge Quotes.”
At time of writing, it’s March 1st 2016. Say what? I feel like this year is already slipping away from me and it’s only been two months. I was thinking about my goals for this year, and how I want to have more adventures with Richard and the boys, so I decided to map out the month of March on my little whiteboard.
March 2016 is going to bring a LOT of adventures…
Week 1 – Visiting Niagara-on-The-Lake and the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. I found a great hotel deal on Travelzoo for the Prince of Wales Hotel in Niagara-on-The-Lake and discovered the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum is on the way. A perfect weekend to celebrate my husband’s birthday on Monday.
Week 2- Richard’s birthday. The big dude turns 31… I can’t deal with this. He was 19 when we met. Now he is 31. We’re such an old married couple. I think I’ll bake him a birthday cake, or birthday cookies.
Week 3- CARLY RAE JEPSEN AKA CRJ. I am so excited to go to her concert with Aparna. We plan to grab a late lunch/early dinner, then see CRJ for her #GIMMELOVE Tour. I know we’re going to lose our voices from singing. RUN AWAY WITH ME. RUN AWAY WITH ME. Side story about me and CRJ – I was so drunk at my friend Lori’s wedding and wouldn’t stop harassing the DJ to play “Run Away With Me.” When he finally gave in, I promptly took over the dance floor, belting that jam at the top of my white wine soaked lungs.
Week 4 – Neil DeGrasse Tyson at Hill Auditorium. NGT will be talking about space, I presume. I am not entirely sure what it’s about, whether he is promoting a book, or just being NDT on stage… I don’t really care what it’s about because I know I’m going to leave the event with an even greater understanding of how insignificant my life is in the grand scheme of things, and what more can I ask from NGT?
WEEK 5 – No plans…Hopefully something fun will come up so I can make this month THE. BEST. MONTH. EVER.
What else is on my fridge… Pictures of my nieces, my nephew, Christmas cards, old receipts I should just throw out but will keep for another few months, Game of Thrones magnets, our certificate of kennel sponsorship from the Humane Society, postcards from The Henry Ford Museum.
